Like all women, Gale wanted to get something sexy and elegant. To this end, she decided to create a set of underwear, panties and bra and chose embroidered handkerchiefs as the starting material. The result of this experiment was successful and Gale Epstein gave it to her close friend as a birthday present.
The gift made a great impression on the birthday girl, and she began to advertise Gale’s invention to her friends. Some of those friends were working in the fashion industry at that time, and they contributed to the creation of HANKY PANKY, the currently popular brand. Surprisingly, a common hobby of a simple American woman turned into a profitable business, which continues its work to this day.
