The guiding line of the brand is a combination of all the passion, avant-garde and fantasy of Barcelona. The story began in the 60s in Catalonia. The creative director and owner of the company, Andrés Sardá, strived to update traditional lingerie by designing different silhouettes and applying original details.
Andrés’ love for fashion was inherited from his parents: all members of his family have been engaged in the production of clothing and fabrics for many years. And Andrés himself was fond of studying female physiology and anatomy, which helped him in creating comfortable clothing. As a designer, Andrés Sardá was convinced that functional underwear that existed at that time was outdated and the world needed something new. He was the first to use new materials such as nylon, lycra and teflon.
In 1970, the first line of swimsuits was released. They were different from the swimsuits offered at the time due to the softness of the fabric, bright colors, beautiful fit and functionality.
